What you need depends on what you're doing.
-
To start
A Mac with Apple silicon, running macOS 27 or later. It's your home base.
Your own AI subscription, Claude or ChatGPT, signed in on that Mac. Albria runs Claude's own app (Claude Code) under your login, for your own work; it never takes or holds your sign-in, and your usage counts against your plan the same as using Claude yourself.
No Albria account.
-
On iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Vision Pro Coming
Albria Plus, and your Mac. Each of them is a window into your Mac: the Mac does the work, so it needs to be on and running Albria, signed in to the same Apple account.
-
Looking after someone Coming
Your Mac running Albria, and her iPhone, iPad or Mac running Albria Care, paired to yours with a one-time code. One Mac serves you both. She never pays.
-
To build apps
A GitHub account, for save history, testing and releases. An Apple Developer account, if you want to put an app on the App Store.
-
More than one Mac
Tailscale, which connects your Macs privately. It's free for personal use.
-
Extra connections
Texts and calls, a heart-rate strap, and others: only if you turn them on, one at a time. Some need their own account or key, which you pay for directly. Each one says what it reads.
